About Double Wall Cardboard Boxes

Double wall cardboard boxes have two layers of corrugated board (BC-flute), which makes them much stiffer and more resistant to crushing and puncture than single wall boxes. Use them for heavy or fragile goods, export and pallet shipments, archive storage, and as removal boxes when moving house or office. They are sold at trade prices in packs of 25, with lower rates for larger orders.

  • 19 sizes, from 229 × 152 × 152 mm (9 × 6 × 6 in) up to 610 × 610 × 610 mm (24 × 24 × 24 in)
  • Common trade sizes include 305 × 305 × 305 mm (12 × 12 × 12 in), 457 × 305 × 305 mm (18 × 12 × 12 in) and 457 × 457 × 305 mm (18 × 18 × 12 in)
  • All sizes are internal dimensions (length × width × height)
  • Supplied flat-packed in packs of 25

Seal heavy boxes with an H pattern of tape: along the centre seam and across both edges. On larger cartons, 75mm packing tape gives a wider, stronger seal. For lighter parcels, single wall boxes cost less and weigh less.

How the volume pricing works

The price per pack drops as you order more of one size. The rate is set by the number of packs of that size on your order:

  • 1-4 Packs: 1 to 4 packs
  • 5-9 Packs: 5 to 9 packs
  • 10+ Packs: 10 packs or more
