About 48mm Packaging Tapes

48mm packing tape, also called parcel tape or box tape, is the standard width for sealing cartons up to medium weight and fits all common hand tape dispensers. It is sold in full trade boxes of 36 rolls.

Roll size: 48mm × 66m (1.9 in × 217 ft)
Low-noise tape, brown or clear: 28 micron polypropylene with water-based acrylic adhesive; unwinds quietly
Heavy-duty solvent tape, brown or clear: 32 micron with natural rubber adhesive; grabs faster on recycled, dusty or cold cardboard
Recycles with the carton

Brown tape blends in with brown boxes. Clear tape suits white or printed cartons where labels and branding should stay visible. For heavy boxes and pallet shipments, 75mm tape gives a wider seal. To mark parcels, use printed warning tape; for plastic-free packing, see paper tape.

The price per pack drops as you order more of one size. The rate is set by the number of packs of that size on your order:
